Vintage Tibetan Silver Trinket Box with Coral & Turquoise | Himalayan Repousse Offering Box | Buddhist Symbols Jewelry Box

This exceptional vintage Tibetan silver jewelry box is a tour de force of Himalayan metalwork, combining three distinct decorative traditions in a single richly layered object. The cylindrical body is covered in dense repousse metalwork depicting three of Buddhism’s auspicious symbols — a scaled fish, a conch shell, and two fierce demon faces — each emerging from swirling acanthus scrollwork across the exterior walls. The interior reveals the same embossed detailing carried through to the inside surface, a mark of genuine craftsmanship rather than decorative shortcut.

The fitted lid is inlaid entirely with crushed turquoise mosaic and crowned with a raised central medallion: a segmented turquoise disc encircled by a ring of deep orange coral cabochons and fine silver beadwork, creating a mandala-like composition of striking colour and symmetry.

Used traditionally to hold trinkets, tika powder, sacred herbs, or precious offerings, this box functions equally as a jewelry keepsake, altar centerpiece, Buddhist ritual box, or collector’s statement piece for lovers of Himalayan antiques.
