Sourced from the textile markets of Old Delhi and handcrafted individually into one-of-a-kind wearable pieces, each of these cuff bracelets begins with a length of genuine vintage Parsi-style embroidered silk trim — the kind of richly worked border fabric long used to edge saris, dupattas, and ceremonial garments in the Indian embroidery tradition.
The trim itself is composed of beautifully detailed butterfly in antique gold silk thread flanked by delicate daisy-like floral sprays against a deep black background. The embroidered ribbon is sewn onto a soft black suede leather backing that gives the cuff structure, comfort, and a supple fit against the wrist, closing with a brass button and elastic loop fastening.
