Original 1975 Bollywood Poster – Yashoda Krishna (Hindi Dubbed) | Rare Vintage Indian Mythological Film Collectible
This is an authentic vintage poster from the 1975 Hindi-dubbed release of Yashoda Krishna, originally made in Telugu by director C. S. Rao. A rare surviving Bollywood poster, this beautifully illustrated print celebrates one of Indian cinema’s most beloved mythological stories — the childhood of Lord Krishna, or Bala Krishna.
The film starred Sridevi and Rohini in dual portrayals of the mischievous young Krishna, while actor Ramakrishna played the adult Krishna. Legendary actor S. V. Ranga Rao portrayed the tyrannical King Kamsa in what would become his final screen appearance.
This original 1970s poster features vibrant hand-painted artwork of young Krishna stealing butter, alongside a serene image of Yashoda, Krishna’s divine mother. The bold yellow and red color palette, stylized Hindi typography, and Eastman Color tag reflect the era’s vintage Bollywood aesthetics.
